New position

I will be joining the Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg for a postdoctoral research position starting in September 2026.

Dissertation succesfully defended

On June 10, 2026 I successfully defended my doctoral theis, Power and Politics: Essays in Applied Microeconomics. The full text is available for download. Many thanks to my opponent, professor Olle Folke and the grading committee.

During the spring semester of 2023 I have been invited by Prof. Melissa Dell as a visiting researcher at the economics department at Harvard University.

Policy Talk at SNS

In November 2021 I moderated the IIES/SNS International Policy Talk at the think tank SNS. The topic was how to attract, keep and allocate good teachers. The keynote speaker was professor Barbara Biasi (Yale/EIEF)
